Take only memories, leave only footprints

The natural beauty and wonder of the forest is sometimes lost on this world. Children venture less and less into the forest in favour of other pursuits. However this blog was set to not only inform the reader about certain aspects of science in the woods, but it also sought to provide the tools in order to re-engage children with the wonder of nature.
Children are constantly trying to make sense of this world, by facilitating an education on the natural world through their own exploration and senses outside of a classroom, you'll be ensuring that they develop a passion for the outdoors. Of course there are exceptions, not all children and adults will enjoy being in the sometimes cold and dank woods, nevertheless- an education into the natural world around us is essential and one that can be delivered originally and profoundly within the the heart of the woods.
Thank you for taking the time to read some of my offerings on woodland science, I hope you'll enjoy using some of the tips and knowledge here as much as I had learning them myself.
